Directions to Indian Rock


The Indian Rock Inn is located on Scenic River Road, Route 32, in Upper Black Eddy, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. We are conveniently situated 30-40 minutes North of New Hope Pennsylvania and Lambertville New Jersey, and 20 minutes South of Easton and Phillipsburg on a Northwest-Southeast axis. We are 20 minutes West of Flemington New Jersey, and 15 minutes East of Springtown, Pennsylvania, on an East-West axis.

From New York City:

From either the Holland or Lincoln tunnel or GW Bridge, follow directions to the New Jersey Turnpike. Take NJ Turnpike South to Exit 14 (Newark Airport/Interstate-78). Follow I-78 West to Exit #15 (Clinton/Pittstown). At end of ramp, turn left onto Route 513 South for 11 miles into Frenchtown. (Note: at about 4.3 miles, in Pittstown, you will turn right to remain on Route 513). In Frenchtown, Route 513 becomes Race Street. Follow Race Street as it becomes Bridge Street at the curve. Follow Bridge Street around till you get to Harrison Street, take a right, at the Blue Mule. There is a large white building there, that is TD Banknorth. Follow Harrison out of Frenchtown for about 3.6 miles through the country until you get to a stoplight. Take a left here, onto Bridge Street in Milford NJ. Take Bridge Street across the bridge to Upper Black Eddy, PA. Follow River Road for 2.8 miles to Indian Rock. You will pass several "Road Closed" Signs. The road is open all the way the hotel, so just ignore those signs. Do be careful of the one-lane bridge on a curve just before you get to the hotel. The Indian Rock Inn which will be on your left. It is the Cream building at the curve.

Alternate Route from New York City: (From Long Island, Queens or Brooklyn)

Take the Belt Parkway or BQE to the Verrazano Bridge to the Goethals Bridge. Take the New Jersey Turnpike North to Exit 14 to Route 78 West. Follow I-78 West to Exit #15 (Clinton/Pittstown). At end of ramp, turn left onto Route 513 South for 11 miles into Frenchtown. (Note: at about 4.3 miles, in Pittstown, you will turn right to remain on Route 513). In Frenchtown, Route 513 becomes Race Street. Follow Race Street as it becomes Bridge Street at the curve. Follow Bridge Street around till you get to Harrison Street, and take a right, at the Blue Mule. There is a large white building there, that is TD Banknorth. Follow Harrison out of Frenchtown for about 3.6 miles through the country until you get to a stoplight. Take a left here, onto Bridge Street in Milford NJ. From South Jersey:

Take 295 North, which becomes 95 South. Take last exit in New Jersey for Route 29. Follow signs for Route 29 North which will take you through Lambertville and on into Frenchtown. Route 29 ends on Bridge Street. Turn left onto Bridge Street across the Delaware River into Pennsylvania. Go one block to Harrison Street at the Blue Mule. There is a large white building there, that is TD Banknorth. Take a right. Follow Harrison out of Frenchtown for about 3.6 miles through the country until you get to a stoplight. From Jersey Shore:

Take 195 West to 295 North. Interstate 295 North becomes I-95 South. Take last exit in New Jersey for Route 29. Follow signs for Route 29 North for 7.7 miles to Lambertville NJ. In Lambertville, on Route 29 you will have to make a left at the redlight, and then an immediate right at the next light with two gas stations on either side of the road. From Lambertville you will travel another 16 miles on Route 29 to Frenchtown NJ. You will go through Stockton NJ, continuing on Route 29 to Frenchtown. Route 29 ends in Frenchtown, on Bridge Street. Turn left onto Bridge Street. Go one block, and take a right onto Harrison Street, at the Blue Mule. There is a large white building there, that is TD Banknorth. Follow Harrison out of Frenchtown for about 3.6 miles through the country until you get to a stoplight. Take a left here, onto Bridge Street in Milford NJ. Take Bridge Street across the bridge to Upper Black Eddy, PA. Follow River Road for 2.8 miles to Indian Rock. You will pass several "Road Closed" Signs. From Philadelphia, Washington DC and points further south:

Take I-95 North to Exit for Route 29 North. Follow signs for Route 29 North for 7.7 miles to Lambertville NJ. In Lambertville, on Route 29 you will have to make a left at the redlight, and then an immediate right at the next light with two gas stations on either side of the road. From Lambertville you will travel another 16 miles on Route 29 to Frenchtown NJ. You will go through Stockton NJ, continuing on Route 29 to Frenchtown. Route 29 ends in Frenchtown, on Bridge Street. From points southwest:

Take PA turnpike to Route 611 (Willow Grove). Follow Route 611 North, past Doylestown, Plumsteadville, past Wehrung Brothers, through Revere then Ferndale on to Kintnersville to the junction of Route 611 and South 32. Turn right onto South 32. Proceed for less than two miles to Indian Rock.

From Connecticut:

Use Interstate 287 South to access Interstate 78 West. Follow I-78 West to Exit #15 (Clinton/Pittstown). At end of ramp, turn left onto Route 513 South for 11 miles into Frenchtown NJ. In Frenchtown, Route 513 becomes Race Street. Race Street become Bridge Street at the curve. Follow Bridge Street around till you get to Harrison Street, take a right, at the Blue Mule. There is a large white building there, that is TD Banknorth. Follow Harrison out of Frenchtown for about 3.6 miles through the country until you get to a stoplight. Take a left here, onto Bridge Street in Milford NJ. Take Bridge Street across the bridge to Upper Black Eddy, PA. Follow River Road for 2.8 miles to Indian Rock.
