Chef Val can always be found in the garden when he’s not in the kitchen. He loves planting flowers and vines in the raised beds along the front of the inn and herbs along the shaded kitchen side of the building.
The Palisades Puff Pastry shown above is made with goat cheese and asparagus enclosed in a light crispy shell of puff pastry. It’s served with a small side salad.
